I am using live 4, unfortunatly.

I asked the question because i didn't know if there was any built in copy protection that would prevent conversion.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

Beatport // Ableton users... got a question...

Hi, Crew.

I'm wondering... anyone order from Beatport, and have problems converting to WAV? I'd like to buy tracks from BP, but I won't be able to use them unless i'm able to convert them to WAVS.

Comments?

Much appreciated,
Jason D

I have the same problem on my Mac if the computer goes into powersave mode, or if I close the notebook, or basically whenever.

Overall... great use of layers and contrast , the best setting for this music would perhaps be the road, driving at night. -don't make a person wait for minutes to get drum beats! -reverb/fx on drums makes them less punchy, but that may be alright for an ambient work such as this -i think these idea...

maybe you should get a DM2 controller and use their sweet software and perform with it. You won't even have to write songs, you could just hit buttons like a monkey and it will sound good. you could even buy a helper monkey to do it for you so you could focus on drinking, drugs, and chicks at the g...

I get a lot of use out of my UC-33e , and they are quite cheap.

If I was to suggest a second option, I would go for either the Alesis photon x25, or possibly one of the behringers, but i'm very usure about their quality.

To put that crashing thing into perspective, I have not had one crash using 5.0.1 fo djing. Have played out a couple of times too. No issues. I'm not saying people don't have problems just that I've not seen any yet (well one bug regarding the looping following where the braces are but nothing majo...

Yeah, I too have noticed that Mixmeister has a superior beatmatching scheme going on but as far as I can tell you can only do very linear mixes. YOu can create a hitmix compilation CD with MixMeister but you can't really DJ with it. I'm not to arms up in the air over Ableton supporting mp3's. I thi...

Re: As a DJ tool, Ableton is horrible.

- why do you need multiple cue points in one clip? make a new clip instance down the grid Because if i want to use the same clip in multiple songs, I either have to save multiple wav files, or re-invent the wheel and set the cue points again. - learn how to warp your tracks, you dont need autowarp ...
