But try the minilogue by USB before spending on a midi interface!

I think you need a midi thru to be able to do what you want not an out. As for why they are both playing when they are supposed to be on different midi channels is strange, make sure the keyboards aren't in omni mode maybe? Yup all issues solved since I got my 828 and Thunderbolt cable! Never getting any other interface.

I use a Alesis io dock slightly modded to fit my air and it is great. Midi in from my mpc if I want to use it sans computer or from the USB input to sequence it from live. Audio out goes into my interface.

And the pro 3 will be enough to run multiple instances of the live suite instruments and absynth?

Would an i5 with 16 gb ram be enough for what I want to do with it?

This is a new track I finished recently
It will be part of a group of 7 tracks and I want to make sure they are sounding good composition and mix wise so any feedback would be very appreciated

I thought push couldn't work connected to a hub?
Is it working well for you? Are you tracking into live on the surface as well?
I am thinking of using it as a super groove box of sorts and tracking into a desktop running pro tools.
Any thoughts?

Not sure what this would be called but I wish I could freeze and flatten just the synth or sampler on a track while leaving the effects untouched so I can still draw automation etc after, while still reducing the CPU hit.

Yes I want that as well, so I can group multiple hat/shaker type tracks together eq and compress them together and then group them in a overall drum group! +1
