Re: Question about midi mapping in Ableton?
Appreciate the quick reply. It's not really a "must" but it would be nice to have. I've messed with Bome before, but without much success. Time to take another crack at it again

Does it mainly have to do with your ADSR on your filter and amp, or am I missing something super simple? I did some youtubing myself and could...

Re: Any tips on programming ride crescendos?

Or you could link an arpegiator going straight and velocity (automate the velocity so that it gets louder over the section) also add in a bit of random to the velocity for a more live feel. If you macro it all up in a r...

Not at all, I know what you're talking about but I'm looking to do something more jazzy if you will.
Here's a link to a sample,

Any tips on programming ride crescendos?
But working on this and haven't been able to get it to sound 'right' and 'natural'. Would I be better off looking for samples? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Can Ableton take advantage of an AMD 6 Core Processor?
Simple question, can Ableton take Advantage of an AMD 6 Core Processor? Looking to move from the laptop and move to a tower, and I didn't even realize they were making 6 core CPU's yet. Is it worth getting, or should I stick to a quad core and save some cash?
