working with computers (and audio) all day puts a damper on my desire to sit in front of a computer and write music when I get home... no doubt.

To go back to protools you might consider finding someone who has a protools rig with live (or install the live demo on their pt rig) then you can rewire live in to pt as many tracks at once as you want (read manuals to find out how) The onlt thing is to make sure you freeze/render any vst effects y...

I open a blank template every time Only play wav's or aiffs which I have cut up into loops and saved as .als I have two preview tracks in my template routed to the headphone outs on my Traveller so I can prelisten... drag 'em in from the browser preview them, if it's good drag 'em onto one of my out...

Version 5.0.2. update to 5.2, this bug is definitly fixed in there. Like I said I was having this problem when I was looping the beginning of a song, when I punched out of the loop it was stopping writing data in the arrange window, and when I went back there we're no loops just the song body which...

What version of live? early versions of Live 5 did shorten some of my tracks when I was looping and turned loop off but I think they fixed the bug with 5.1.2 and I know it's fixed in 5.2... maybe not the same bug?
