Having a Big one, makes a difrance, in the human world Having a Slow, VERY expensive stipid Mac also makes the Weomen want you. macs are cool. PCs are gutsy - but boasting about them is like looking at everyone elses knobs in the showers to see if yours is bigger and really is pretty pathetic You forget one thhing dude. Bottom line... When performing live with a laptop the PC gives a serious feeling of uncertainty. XP is in a decent state of stability for now but this will never last. XP requires A LOT of baby sitting. When SP2 is released who knows what will break. When Longhorn comes out who knows what to expect...

I rarely see any real pros complaining about their slow computers. They just happily continue making great music with their "oh so slow" 2 - 3 year old G4's. Hey Anonymus! ... Dont forget that newer programes use more power. If your a pro and using lets say midi as your main sequensing th...

Also in between all this hype, have you also noticed that many/most of the people who REALLY perform and/or have actualy music out on labels etc mostly do not have those hi spec'd machines everyone is "needing" ... [be it PC/Mac ] ... That may be true, i havent looked at the actual power o...

Hey Mbazzy
Why do you think lots of live proformers use mac's?
Not trying to make a point, just a plane question..
