I am so confused also what to get. My main focus is to get something to sequence drum tracks...I dont know if the LP or APC is better they just seem different. Can someone recommened the best video they have seen displaying the sequencer ability and vsts and effect controls of the APC?

I am wondering if its easy and there are any templates out there to setup a MPD32 or similar controller as a sequencer similar to the maschine?

I was considering the nocturn which is part of the reason of the start of this thread...I dont use the keyboard much and not looking for a APC so I may consider the Remote Xero MKII now since it appears to be better for mixer controls and studio use with the longer sliders and layout. Then may just ...

I know I dont want to use the novations pads thats for sure, what about maybe a nocturn and MPD32. I could use the MPD32 faders and transports for mixer and transport control as well as beat making and use the nocturn with the heads up display for tweaking settings on vsts and instruments
