Re: Multiple Mixes in One Project File
Seems similar in concept, but I don't know if I can take pieces from each arrangement and move those pieces freely between arrangements. Will look into it more though... One of the reasons for having multiple arrangements in for multiple purposes (Radio, album, TV edit, etc...) simply comparing mixe...

Ability to add pick-up measures at beginning of Arrangement.
Logic has this cool little feature where you can drag the timeline at the beginning of the arrangement window backwards from the beginning to add negative measures. The reason why this is awesome is because in music there are things called pick-up measures, by where a melody might start before the d...

Re: Multiple Mixes in One Project File
Thanks guys. Felt I was alone on a desert island on that one for a hot minute. I think it would be absolute heaven to have this feature, and it would put Ableton Live 9 light years ahead of everybody else on the market. The amount of time this would save me would be immense, I do believe. It's reall...

Multiple Mixes in One Project File
Going along with my last post about multiple arrangements in one project file, I would also like the same thing for mixes. I want to be able to have multiple mixes for an arrangement so I can try different mixes out and compare them against each other. Obviously automation in the arrangement would b...

Multiple Arrangements in One Project File
I would love to be able to create multiple arrangements of my project in one file, rather than to have to save as and make multiple copies so that I can have different arrangements. I often have to make album, radio, 15 and 30 second and club arrangements of tracks and songs, and if I change somethi...

Re: !!!!!.....::::: GROOVEBOX :::::.....!!!!!
Also, when I'm creating beat patterns I like to see all my notes for each sound/instrument/etc... all together so I can make the separate patterns work properly. I absolutely despise separating the notes into separate midi clips because then I have to switch back and fourth between the patterns, whi...

Re: !!!!!.....::::: GROOVEBOX :::::.....!!!!!
One of the main things I want is scalable editing based on selection. I think this is the best way to describe it. But the main thing I desire is a comprehensive groove editing pane that thinks more like a musician and less like Ableton, I guess. The whole point about real humanization comes from ye...

Re: GLOBAL TRANSPOSE

More robust transposing features in general would be nice. It's no fun selecting all the notes in a clip, then hitting up or down the amount of semitones I need to move the notes to get them to a different key. Maybe have a transpose function in the ClipBox...

Re: !!!!!.....::::: GROOVEBOX :::::.....!!!!!
I know the Groove Engine editor pretty well, and I have gone through the documentation from Ableton also. As far as I know, the groove engine effects the entire clip, and not just individual note lanes, and there is no swing functionality at all, unless I am mistaken, I can't create accent patterns ...

Re: !!!!!.....::::: GROOVEBOX :::::.....!!!!!
Is there any way to quickly edit the swing of individual sounds, a group of sounds or an entire clip with Ableton's Groove Engine currently? Is there any way to quickly adjust the pocket of sounds without having to select them and then command dragging them? Is there any way to create realistic acce...
