ya my main concern is headroom. i don't recall ever having serious pop issues. but i'm wondering if i should be actively on the lookout for dc offset in all my tracks or just slap that utility on regardless and be done with it? 'cause from what i understand there's some kind of filtering going on to...

How is one to know when DC offset has become an issue in a track? Are there any dangers in just throwing a utility with the DC button enabled on the 2bus? Or on individual channels?

Yeah the song's structure is not that typical, 'cause it's very much built around the first sparse uke section and then the super layered lush thing that follows, and that turned out to be great for this video concept. @sauvm It's all live instruments - a ukulele, a bass guitar, a crash cymbal, and tons of electric guitar tracks - plus a harp sample.

Any music where you want the kit to sound beefier or the vocal to shine a bit more it'll work. Aside from hip-hop I've also done it with IDM, metal, jazz, house...
