track delay corrects the delay. but i just thought that there is a more permanent way to do this in live.

midi clock sync delay in midi ports doesnt correct the delay.
the effect processor is not with sequenser so its not synced its just midi controllable, maybe thats why it doesnt work.

setting audio & midi latency compensation

are audio and midi latencyes different?
i want to set up external effects processor that can be midi controlled. but audio and midi respond not at the same time.
but in live there is only audio driver error correction, am i missing something?

sure things are interconnected, changes bring changes.
but live is not entirely real time, so the "real time from ground up" concept cant be applyed here.

forge, you say that most of the daw features are offline processes and in live its not so. well thats not exactly that. there are certain things that cant be done yet in real time, something like audio file editing. its all non real time in any daw. you say that live is built so everything is live, ...

well i dont know whats wrong. but eps-16+ doesnt format the disks it says "disk not fotmatted" or "disk data corrupted"

would be nice is sampler would have many outputs so some sounds could go to other channels and from there to other effects too. that way polyphony could be saved

hey, im looking for suggestions on a multi effects rack mount processor. something like rfx2200 and mx400. id like it to have some edit knobs on front panel for real time control. and distortion algorhitms, not just typical effects. and much delay time. also would be good if it had multiple inputs a...

its cause only one asio4all instance can ran at a time, thats how its made, i dont know why.. and i dont know about motu drivers, maybe its the same..
maybe if youd install asio4all drivers,and run only sound forge with them, and live with motu drivers,then you wouldnt have this problem.
