Re: Nesting racks to gain 8x8 controllers - is it possible?
do the same as for your scope synths, but instead of the scope midi ports, select a virtual midi port (something like IAC but for PC. never did this on PC, but iirc something like rtp midi?) and select the same virtual port for the vsti?

Re: RME Multiface II cardbus into pci slot anyone?
shameless self promotion: I have an RME multiface I for sale. Never left the studio, hasn't been used for six years (due to lack of PCMCIA slot on my then new macbook, bought a fireface then). It was in perfectly working condition when I put it in a box. Never bothered buying the Xpress card solutio...

Re: mapping macros: envelopes
sounds like you have a solution...? this shouldn't be in M4L, imo. seems simple enough to code in Live itself. instead of the min/max boxes, I'd like a button which brings up a multi segment envelope (one for each mapped parameter)... (made some nice ascii drawings, but they don't come out so...

mapping macros: envelopes
when mapping macros, i'd very much like to edit an envelope (one for every mapped parameter, of course) , instead of just setting min and max values.
imagine the possibilities for sound design...
and like ClyphX's macrobat, be able to map track parameters (level, sends,...) to rack macros!

Re: Transposing large amount of clips efficiently
I remember jamming with a friend who had Fruity Loops, long time ago, and I was most impressed with the global transposition knob... Twisting that knob while the sequences where running was fun! Something I wished I had in Live. Maybe ClyphX Macrobat can provide a solution, although not sure at all ...

Re: Presets for Ableton Instruments included in the suite packag
for operator, search for christian kleine and covert operators presets.
operator is the only Live instrument I use.
especially christian kleine presets are crazy (former (?) ableton developer, and perhaps operator designer???)

Re: iPad best music apps thread!
Waldorf Nave! very powerful synth, filling a gap in my sound palette Korg Gadget. fun, easy to use, great sounding modules. haven't used it yet since the upgrade though... well, once, actually. I exported a song to Live, and that worked just fine. I'm just not 'on the move' that often, and at the st...

Re: Ipad synths into ableton
I have all sorts of soundcards in the studio, except for a USB one, so I recently got the behringer is202. does a more than decent job (so far), way better than the headphone outs, pre-amps to go (haven't used them yet), a bit bulky though, and six AA batteries if you want to go mobile. on the other...

I don't want to get into the reasons for the deletion of posts, here...
I'm new in the world of clyphx and wanted to expand my knowledge regarding Snapping and building a continuous liveset.
I feel I missed some valuable info here through deleting some posts...

Re: Livecontrol 2
I have all the usual suspects on the ipad and I bought touchable last. I wish I'd bought it first, would have saved me a lot of money. exactly my sentiments/experience... even stronger: I first worked with Shove, another (user) lemur project emulating Push (and better than livecontrol imho), then b...

Re: Best way for iPad to complement/supplement Push?
Push and touchAble2 here as well... I only have both of them for a few weeks now, but it changed my workflow completely! touchAble does things Push can't, like sliding your finger over the notes grid to get crazy glissando stuff, controlling EQ8 like you never have before,... I'm also starting to ma...

Re: Touchable 2 error: no server found
I have exactely the same problem as the OP, only I'm still on XP. It works on my MacBook, on the PC I have no problem using LiveControl 2 or Shove. Both machines run Live 9.1
