Final Scratch2 Audio Soundcard + DJM800/700

Has anybody tried using this as a combo with the DJM 700 or 800 mixer.

It's a 24-bit/96kHz studio-quality sound box with midi in/out.....can I use this as the soundcard for a DJM700-800?

Cheers

my guess is that the headaches you will suffer will only cost you more time than worth it for the money you'll be saving...get a real mac and be happy, make music I simply do not have the money to afford one. SERIOUSLY. Yet you have the money to by PC components and build a new PC. Save the dosh, s...

There's also a review of the Zero4 in the DJMag itself...looks like it gets a pretty good write up and is quoted as costing £799...so yeah same or more in cost.

While we're on the subject. This months DJ Mag has a free 'gear' supplement, covered by everyones favourite beardy star wars geek Tom Middleton! Anyway...it's got an extensive-ish look at Tom using the DJM 700 and commenting on it's abilities etc.....appears cheaper (costs something like £700) than ...

I'm using a Macbook (not Pro), with OS X + bootcamped XP Professional. It's seamless so far... I can't tell the difference between this and having two laptops, except for the obvious lack of the second laptop thing. I chose this over parallels for two reasons: - the performance of bootcamp should b...

Boot Camp is best for performance. (And for your pocket. ;)) Parallels Desktop will cost you about a 30% drop in performance (and about £50). I expect VMWare Fusion is about the same. However, the key advantage of Parallels Desktop and VMWare Fusion is that you can run Mac and PC applications side ...
