Yes I've never had a problem with either to be honest. Always used AU more over vst but either seems to be fine.

stop plugin window disappearing
Hi, I'm using maschine in ableton, but when i click the finder window on my mac, to grab samples to drop into machine, the maschine plugin window disappears......then if i click ableton to get it to pop up again, the finder window disappears..... Anyone got any help or advice on how to get the masch...

So it turns out, all i had to do was to open the virus plugin window, right click on whatever it was i want to automate, click add to automation lane, and voila!

I was just wondering, is it possible to stop the nano kontrol controlling abletons tracks/pans etc.....and only have it so it controls the plugins? yes its showing up in live prefs.
I have searched the forums, ive searched the korg forums, google, etc......
Ive finally found how to put it in CC mode, but i still cant get it to control plugins - it just keeps controlling Live's channels...

hmmmm, .txt file, no? I think at the moment the nano kontrol2 is set up to just interact with live, but i need it to work with plugin parameters instead.

Controlling synths with Nano Kontrol 2
Hi, I have the nano kontrol 2 and ive got it controlling lives volume faders, mute, solo buttons etc ok, but i want to be able to control plugin knobs with it, like filter cut off etc on 3rd party synths in live......i can't seem to get it to work though. I press midi, then move a knob on the plugin...

i had the same problem with the 'back to arrangment' automation button stuck off. I couldn't click it on again.
hopefully this latest release will fix some probs.

Thanks guys, yes i have the virus setup as an external instrument with multiple outs.
I will test out a few things said above and see what happens. I just assumed i wouldn't have to click 'midi' then map each knob separately.
