Re: Puremagnetik's Retro Synth Pack
Ok, don't worry. I eventually found it. Under the Help View, there is a section that says "Show all add-on Lessons" and it was under there.

Re: Puremagnetik's Retro Synth Pack
I have tried that, but it only shows the Ableton help topics. I cannot find the puremagnetik's retro synth help topic in the Help View.
Any other ideas.

Puremagnetik's Retro Synth Pack
I have downloaded and installed the Retro Synth Ableton Pack. When it had first installed Ableton presented you with a Help screen relating to the Retro Synth pack, with links with linked to the relevant folder in the sample pack. After I closed Ableton and opened it again that help window had disap...

Re: From Logic to Ableton
Live does seem more fun to work in. Sometime it feels more like a chore in Logic. I'm loving the drum racks. So much easier building up a drum kit, that it is in the EXS24. I also love you how you can use Velocity percentages to change the velocity of your hits. To do this in Logic is so much more o...

Re: From Logic to Ableton
Cool thanks. I have been mainly composing in Logic, and then have been bouncing stems down to Ableton to use for Live use. So I haven't really used Ableton for composing. But after watching a few tutorials I can really see how it can work for me. Just trying to plan how to do the transition. I also ...

From Logic to Ableton
Has anyone here moved away from Logic to Ableton? I have been using Logic for the last 7 years. I purchased Ableton last year and having been watching alot of tutorials on the application. I am very surprised on what interesting stuff you can do with the application from a composing point of view. I...

Re: Launchpad - rewire
I have the Launchpad setup in the MIDI preferences with Track and Remote set as On. But the lights do not come on on the Launchpad when in rewire mode. So I cannot choose User 1 mode.

Re: Launchpad - rewire
I had an Ableton project setup with a drum rack using User 1 Mode. It was also setup so that when drum hits were playd the LED pads responded accordingly. But when I open Ableton up in Rewire mode the Launchpad is not active in Control Surface Mode and none of the LED's respond.

Launchpad - rewire
I am wanting to use the Launchpad as my control surface in Ableton. But when I rewire Ableton to Logic, I can no longer use the launchpad as my control surface as Logic takes over. Is there a way to work around this. I want to use Logic as my main DAW, but use Ableton for the Drum Racks and I want t...

Re: Percussion Hand Drum controller for Ableton. Suggestions?
Thanks pedroschki.
I will check out the Roland and Yamaha units. My percussionist is using sticks and hands on his drums so that is perfect. Thanks.

Percussion Hand Drum controller for Ableton. Suggestions?
I am looking for a Velocity sensitive Hand Drum MIDI controller for Ableton. I don't need a controller like the Roland ones with built-in sounds as I will be using drum samples from Ableton and assign that channel to the Hand Drum Midi controller. I have a percussionist in my band that is using cong...

Problem finding samples after upgrading from 8.0.5 to 8.2.1
I have just upgraded from 8.0.5 to 8.2.1. After launching Live it cannot find the samples from the EIC2 Keys pack. Do I need to re-install these. Why did Live lose them after the upgrade. I tried scanning my system for the missing files. But could not find them. After the upgrade the EIC2 Keys is no...

Re: Beginner getting hardware
Get the Korg Microkey. It feels great and sits nicely with my Macbook Pro 13-inch due to it's size.
It takes a bit of getting used to the smaller keys, but they really do have a much better feel and response to some of the other MIDI controllers in the same price range.
