bottom most track is the master track. therein lies the automation for the set's tempo. I think what you want is to just slow that one clip's tempo down. do that by moving warp markers around or by changing its 'original tempo' in Clip View. you mean changing the "segment BPM"? and what d...

thanks guys. so i think to extend audio you just slow down the tempo (on the yell). but in arrangement view, i can't see automation on the tempo decrease (so i can manually change it). any idea how to see this, i can only see mixer automation.

listen to the acapella, clap your hands to the beat. do that a few times to get a feel for the track then try again. also try warping the beat to the full version of the song. then get the beat, the song and the acapella to line up then take out the original version. thanks!! also, how do I take a ...

when I try to assign a button on my SL Mk2 to one of the buttons in ableton that cut off eq altogether, the button will cut off the specific eq but not turn it back on, like my MPK88 did. any ideas guys? tried assigning manually the MIDI, but same thing.

how do you select both lanes (audio 1 and 2) to move tracks, but only some of one lane and not all of it--i can only move tracks in both lanes if the left and right of both lanes are both the same (therefore splitting one of a track)

ok, so im recording two tracks right. i hit spacebar to pause. press global record to on, and the shift + spacebar, but the tracks do not continue to play...

Once you have frozen a track, you can flatten to make it permanently audio. Frozen tracks can be unfrozen to revert to midi and regain control. no one in ableton support will answer this Q: how do you stop a recording of a mix and start it up again so that the tracks resume playing and the recording continues as well? i tried shift + spacebar, but that didnt work. MUCH APPRECIATED!

i know you can pause a song and then press shift + spacebar to resume, but when im recording and i resume, the record button goes off and the mix stops recording. any help would be much much appreciated!

how to you copy modified samples/tracks into new sets? i tried copying and pasting, but the audio effects didn't transfer over...
