hey thanks for the answer. i posted my buffer sizes in my other (longer post). I guess you didn't see that, but i've got them set at 512. Plug-in set to 'as audio'. This should be enough no? And keep in mind this is without actually using any audio loops, only plug-ins, where the whole thing gets us...
