Yep, even if exported the metronome will be heard on the clip.
I would use a drum loop, but the thing is the drum loop would then be recorded onto the audio clip too. The audio track basically just records whatever sounds are present when recording. I can't make it ONLY record the keyboard.

Re: Tempo tap recorded with audio?
Sorry guys, wasn't very clear back when I explained. I still have this problem. Basically, when I record audio, I use the metronome. But, the metronome sound (thats the tapping), also gets recorded with the audio. How do I stop this happening? I have a keyboard hooked up to ableton, and I'd like to ...

Re: Record finished track instead of exporting?
Thanks for the replies guys. I would like to try this resampling method. However when I resample it, wont the audio just be quiet? Thats what happens when I usually resample, until I add something like Multiband Dynamics.

Re: Record finished track instead of exporting?
Hey thanks for your reply,
Will the quality of this resampled track be worse than if I exported from arrangement view? Are there any disadvantages to this method?

Record finished track instead of exporting?
Hey guys, Im tired of exporting my finished track and finding that the volumes and balance is nothing like what the track sounds like in Ableton. Is there any way to just record the finished track off Ableton as it plays? Without losing quality though. I think Ive seen this done before, I just cant ...

Re: Drums a lot quieter once track is exported
Hey thanks a lot for your reply. With that button pressed the track in arrangement view doesn't play at all unfortunately. I dont understand whats happening. In ableton, everything is in balance. But, once rendered, the drums are much quieter than the other instruments. However, if I increase the vo...

Drums a lot quieter once track is exported
Hey guys,
Im very new to Ableton. I just exported a finished track, and when I played back the wav file, the drums are a lot quieter and softer than they are when playing the track back on Ableton. Why is this? What am I doing wrong? Would really appreciate any help

Hey guys,
I have a short loop that I just want to loop twice. However when I play the clip it loops four times. How do I make it loop only twice? Sorry I know there is probably a simple answer x

Re: Sustain pedal not working in ableton midi
Hey when I go to CC64 in the midi clip envelope, the purple automation line is at 0 throughout the clip. Does this mean the MIDI messages aren't being sent.
Also, Im an amateur. Where can I get a MIDI monitoring program, and how do I use it?
Thank you for your help

Re: Sustain pedal not working in ableton midi
No not recording in loops. Just recording for as long as I want, then pressing stop. Then making a loop. Should I record in loops?
