Re: Touch screen iMac for 579 euro - from Dell
Doesn't look very comfortable to use. That's the first thing I thought, though I'm sure one could fashion a cradle for it to lay it at a better angle. What were dell thinking with that image of the dudes out-stretched arms?! When times are tough one of the first things that gets cut is the design b...

Re: Lunchpad - programmable like normal midi controllers?
The AkaiPro controllers are suddenly looking very desirable!! 8) Hopefully they can be programmed to do simple midi controlling. On the APC40 (guess it'll be the same on the 20) you can customise exactly Nothing! The only options are getting programs that translate the midi messages (kind of simila...

I think that's too concerned with live.
I'd stick it in the Tips & Tricks and if you don't get an answer place a feature request

Re: How solid is Live8 for you?
Rock solid here. Still running 8.0.9 though (no need to update as I don't have m4l and no crashes on my system) I probably had a total of around 15-20 crashes since 8.0.3, half of those after installing a few freeware effects plugins. Deleted the ones that seemed to be causing problems and it's been...

Re: Assigning a button to reset pan-knob.
Ah, forgot to add in the midi mappings you have to set min to "49L" then it should center at 63. The orange light stays on, but if you hover over the control the status bar says "Track Panning: C" and phase cancelation tests result in near silence. Actually the signal is there, b...

Re: Ableton HQ please read
I havent just arrived on the scene hear and am posting up things just for the sake of it. I have genuine reason for again highlighting Live 8s issues namely come April/May/June if it is not stabilised we will be in a right pickle :) Plus other people who are seasoned or otherwise may benefit from t...
