Re: God what I hate hate hate comping vocals in Live
It almost make me fire up Cubase again. Every time I'm comping vocals on Live a part of me dies. /C +1000 I don't believe why some sequencers like Sonar are going ahead : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvR_BvVpyFs&index=12&list=PLCPMyFyv8V07CnKoVWraOOGsjw06jzBI1 and why Ableton is stuck wi...

Live 9 64 and 32 installed on same computer
I have Live 32 bits installed. Can I install Live 64 bits version on the same computer, without overwriting my previous 32 bits installation? Something else: I have hundreds of 32bits VST, carefully selected over the years... (many freeware pack) Will it be a long task to bridge them to Live 64bits ...

Freeze a track which peaks at more than 0dB
Hi, some of my tracks sometimes peak at "a little bit more than 0dB". It's not a problem because of internal headroom of at least 6dB : no distorsion / saturation at all. But when I freeze the track, then it's a problem : the audio is saturated. Any trick, other than "Just lower the v...

Re: Insert bars & AutoTune in graphical mode
Does someone have an idea?
This is driving me crazy

Re: Insert bars & AutoTune in graphical mode
doesn't work...
or if you mean "freeze" and then export into a new clip, yes of course, it'll work, but then the AutoTune will be rendered forever, and I won't be able to finely edit the graph later...

Insert bars & AutoTune in graphical mode
I use Autotune 6 in graphical mode. I have carefully spent a few hours correcting all the vocals according to what I want. Now I need to insert 4 or 8 bars at the beginning of the song... But then, all the autotune done in graphical mode is lost (it's like everything is moved...) I have at least 10 ...

Arrangement View : Move a few seconds back or forward
When mixing a song (in arrangement view), I'd love to have a keyboard shortcut or MIDI assignation to do that : * Move 2 seconds earlier * Move 2 seconds later * Move to next bar * Move to previous bar The key RIGHT ARROW, LEFT ARROW can help, but when you're in a VST interface, these keyboard short...

APC Mini & Drum Rack
How can I play with a Drum Rack with APC Mini ?
I can't imagine that APC can only launch clips but not play Drum rack
Of course we can turn Control Surface off, and then it sends MIDI notes to Drum rack, but then we loose the faders assignation and all the APC mini features...

Re: Play Notes with APC mini
Really a ton of work?
Looking at the .py files here (not the .pyc) for these controllers, it seems to be quite short files (< 30 lines sometimes).
Of course one needs to know how it works

Play Notes with APC mini
By default, there are 2 ways of using APC mini : Preferences > MIDI > Control Surface > None > None > None : then APC mini sends MIDI NoteOn / NoteOff, but we cannot use the cool APC mini features, such as faders controling Volume, Pan, Devices, etc. with SHIFT + button Preferences > MIDI > Control ...

Re: Assign every clip's Transpose knob to a different MIDI CC
Thanks for all your answers! If I use one Simpler per track (clever solution), I can assign 1 Transpose per Fader of APC Mini :) Indeed :) BUT Then I can't play the samples with pads of the APC mini... : Pads of the APC Mini are designed to launch ... audio clips (in Session view) and not play MIDI ...
