Re: Memory Corruption Detected 0x6e

that's certainly an option but honestly, the app I posted above will take less than a minute to burn to cd. from there you just boot from it and iirc, it automatically starts to run upon boot. It will tell you pretty quickly if you have bad memory module or not. this way if your dimms aren't bad, no...

Re: Memory Corruption Detected 0x6e

maybe you have a defective memory chip. try running a memory test. its somewhere under System Tools in control panel. yeah, I was just about to post the same thing, though I don't think you can run a memtest while the OS is booted. This is the tool I use when I want to see if a dimm is defective - ...

Re: LIVE 8 PERFORMANCE TEST - Results Here

yeah, it definitely exceeded my expectations. This new computer + the new 64bit beta is definitely changing the way I work. Whereas before I would find myself having to quickly start freezing things to save on mem and cpu, now I can continually keep loading things without even thinking about it. Jus...

Re: Support for Polyphonic Aftertouch

Wow - yes, definitely - the Animoog kicks ass And the implementation of poly aftertouch is brilliant. Using multi-touch to play a chord and then drag across the keys to change the timbre - brilliant! And MIDI out means you could use this as a MIDI controller for LIVE!!! interesting. just picked up ...

Re: Support for Polyphonic Aftertouch

Okay - enough taunting the developers. I LOVE Ableton Live or I wouldn't be putting so much energy into getting this feature implemented. "nuff said...." Rex Perry Perry Multimedia Inc Well put! That's the reason I am still here, 5 years after I started this thread, hoping this feature wi...

Re: Best laptop for Ableton Live - on stage performance

HP Elitebook Workstations.. I know they're expensive but then so are macbooks and you really do get what you pay for. My thing is, that you can get so much more for what you are paying. And if Cakewalk and Avid goes so far as to say those are their recommended PC laptops, Ableton probably wouldn't ...

Re: Eric Persing

as far as i am concerned, every time i called/emailed spectrasonics for help (i own stylus rmx and omnisphere) they always answered me within one day. So, positive feedback. They trust me, i trust them (for now), and i hope they will continue this policy: they listen to the users requests, they hel...
