Well Geraldo, this has nothing to do with the performance of the emi 2/6. There are no issues with audio out in OS X 10.2.1

The issue is with either OS X or Ableton Live and what is happening visually. This screen redraw latency is apparent even if I don't use the emi 2/6.

Not reliable for a live gig @ all. I don't even bother using it in the studio.

Yes, this midi utility is new in OS X 10.2 and quite hidden.

However, the problem I'm having with OS X is that the screen redraw latency makes Ableton Live unusable. Hopefully the next Ableton update will address this issue. Reason 2 doesn't seem to suffer from this problem in OS X.

OS X 10.2 Jaguar does support multiple outs with the E-magic emi 2/6. You just have to use the Audio/Midi Utility. But that is only 3 stereo pairs out.

You'd probably be more interested in the RME/Nuendo Audiolink box instead.

It would be great to be able to scroll down a long list of clips in the pool by being able to use the scroll wheel on a mouse instead of pointing and clicking on the side bar. Would definitely make things easier and a bit quicker for jumping around.
