Re: If you use Drum Racks and Samplers, check THIS out...

I used to do this for a while, but I recently stopped. The reason is project loading times for one. Another important reason: I work a lot with eq on the kick. If I want to try another kick, say at chain nr 78, id need to add a new eq, plus other fx chains there. Then, I might want to try that on a...

Re: If you use Drum Racks and Samplers, check THIS out...

thanks and quick question: you load about 200 samples in sampler... but with midi you can only select 127. do you have an workaround for this I don't see? best regards Yep, good point. You can actually select 128 samples with the Chain Selector. I load more in because if I don't like the first grou...

Re: If you use Drum Racks and Samplers, check THIS out...

So helpful! I've been doing layering with Guru because it was pretty quick, going to give it a try it with drum racks more often now... This is great for drawing in midi notes, but how about assigning 2 or more samples to the same midi note so that you have the layers play together when hitting a s...

Re: If you use Drum Racks and Samplers, check THIS out...

So I just posted a long thread about different ways to do something similar to what your videos discuss. Although this is a great technique for producing single tracks, what about performing in a similar fashion. How would you go about recalling your settings per midi drum clip? For example you dia...

Re: If you use Drum Racks and Samplers, check THIS out...

Thanks a lot for sharing. Since you seem to know you way around sampler... is there an easy way to change the timbre of the selected sample (kick for instance) by incomming note velocity. So that it becomes more naturalistic sounding? Regards Foss The best way to do this with incoming note velocity...

Re: Learn how to create KILLER controllerism Live templates

nice stuff I got no vidz yet but i make kind of similar stuff with usine, do you know/did you try it? I often see your vidz and you seems to be a 'modular setup performance' guy, i think you would enjoy it. It let you patch this kind of stuff and insert it as a VST on any track in live, and for fre...
