creating a strong beat with only ableton instruments?
i know this is kinda vague, but i have analag, operator, drum rack, impulse, and i am wondering if anyone has any tips for pulling these all together to create a beat with heavy-deep bass (from hip-hop to house to trance) and just some basic soft synths (i can add more synths/sounds later). not sure...

It all depends on the original license. If you have a commercial loop cd, there's a very good chance that it allows you to use the loops for your own commercial song creation, but you can't use those loops to create or sell other sample cds...at least I've never seen that allowed.
