It happened to me too several times, but only with vst's. If your vst has a panic or a flush/note off button, it should solves this i guess. It's usually a stuck note.

Do you have some notes still playing ? It could be that

Video sync seems nice (I haven't tried it) but to me vizzable is more complete although there hasn't been any updates for a while (version 3 has been pending for some time) ... If you choose vizzable, i suggest you to use the 32 bit version of live as there are some issues with vizzable with live 64...

Vizzable is perfect for that, it's a complete video processing environnement in ableton live.

Press the I/O button, create a new midi track. In this new track, select the track with the effect in the "midi from" input. Record a clip on the new track, that's it !

That's what i'm doing, you have to change the "Select on launch" behavior in the preferences. It works well but if you select device/track/clip mode for the encoders, it still steals the focus. I'm only using the volume & Sends mode.

Hold Shift in session mode, you'll get session overview (each pad represents 8 clips)

I recently bought Conductr. The user mode is great, especially the x-y pads that allows you to control up to 4 parameters, it is a cool performance tool.
