Actually, cashes with 8.2.1 as well, but with different plugins it seems...

Live 8.2.2 and Waves = loads of crashes...
Anybody else having this?
Run, among other things, quite a lot of GTR3. Seems stable enough in 8.2.1, crashes Live a lot in 8.2.2. GTR3 hasn't changed, so, I'm guessing something broke in 8.2.2...

Loading samples using path relative to project folder?
In a project. Trying to load and play a bunch of (hard coded) samples using ~sfplay Works great, however, I haven't been able to figure out how to load the samples using a relative path. Since the samples are located in the project folder, I would very much like to specify the paths relative to the ...

Ok, that's what I thought. No big deal, I just wanted to be sure I didn't miss anything.

Re: Automating sample start in Sampler?
I'm not talking about midi automation, I'm talking about regular parameter automation (either from clip envelopes or from track envelopes in Arrange View). The reason for this is that the midi resolution is pretty bad for moving start/loop points around with some sort of precision, the same goes for...

Automating sample start in Sampler?
Hi there!
Am I correct in assuming that it's not possible to use clip envelopes to automate sample start in Sampler? This feels a bit surprising, as it's possible to do in Simpler. Am I missing something?

Regardless of sound? That's a bit like "who would buy a LA-2A compressor when you can get a behringer one with more knobs much cheaper?"mholloway wrote:I just can't imagine who would pay that kind of money for a plugin this tiny, regardless of the sound

Re: seeking a good sysex app for Mac
That's not easy to do. Both patch names and program numbers are manufacturer specific, and not part of the MIDI standard so to speak.tyrosine wrote: Looks like neither of these apps support renaming or reordering patches within a user bank though.

What bugs are fixed in 8.2?
I was under the impression that all effort would be on fixing bugs...

Re: Recycle's Stretch Technique In Live 8?
Ah, sorry, didn't read all that well.
How about using beats warp mode, stretching the clip to the desired tempo/length, then consolidate, then slice? That should embed the stretching into the new audio file I think.

Isn't that pretty much what the "beats" warp mode does. You can select whether you want pingpong loop or regular (or no loop) and the amount...

Re: Leeds' compressor review - Cytomic 'The Glue'
CONS : Doesn't sound quite as authentic to the original hardware as the UAD, Waves and SSL versions, albeit having more control. Andy has done quite a lot of work with further improving the glue with the later versions, and in a blind test at the gearslutz forum, people failed to hear any differenc...

Re: VST3 support please !
If so, then waves have done something wrong. Sidechaining works just fine with Sonalksis 315mk2 and Cytomic the glue. VST3 really adds nothing but trouble...raw wrote:It's very important for the sidechain of vst plugins, like the Waves plugins..
Thanks !
