Re: A way to reliably keep Date log of “.als lastly opened”
Jesus how can i bee so stupid? Well, if you’re stupid so am I. My first thought was it’s the kind of thing often easiest done from a terminal shell, so I did a quick search and found the method I suggested. I’d simply forgotten about adding columns to the finder displays. As for Terminal methods, t...

Re: A way to reliably keep Date log of “.als lastly opened”
There are several ways to find when a file was last opened. If you open a finder window and right-click in the bar at the top of the list that says "title" etc. one of the options that appears is "date last opened". Activate that and it will add a new column to the finder header...

Re: MacOS Big Sur and M1 (Apple Processor) support
I can report good news: I'm running Live 10 on my brand new MacBook Air with the M1 and it runs flawlessly in Rosetta. A project that makes my intel machine take off just runs at 30% utilisation. Laptop stays cool to the touch too. This is looking like an amazing platform even without a real port t...

A way to reliably keep Date log of “.als lastly opened”
Hi everyone. I am looking for a way to reliably keep a katalog-list of when an .als was opened. The list inside Live “Recently opened” is too short for me. Re: MacOS Big Sur and M1 (Apple Processor) support
Alright - Ableton Live running flawlessly on an Apple M1 Air with Big Sur and using a Push 2. Putting it through its paces, but have had zero issues so far... Plugins that work - U-He Repro-1/5, Madrona Labs Kaivo/Aalta, Bias FX 2 Plugins that don't work - Native Instruments (as a whole), iLok, Sof...

Exporting Similarly to Ozone using Live 10
Hello everybody. Hope you are doing superb and healthy. So my issue is that while i love Ozone`s workflow and most of all the Exporting functionality , i hate the instability and crashes of the Ozn 9 Adv Standalone Application when used with 3rd party plugins which transformed it to a no go over the...

Re: Export Specific Region of Audio Tracks-Stems (Album Export)
Because (unless i miss something) you cant export directly from Session view? You are indeed missing something, it can be easily done from both environments. In the end there isn't all that much difference between a clip in the arrangement view and one in session view. I'd suggest checking up on th...

Hi everyone. Hope you are healthy. I wondered. In arrangement view. If you have say 4 long clips( a whole song in each) on 4 tracks. Can you export the 4 stems but only the information contained and not the silent part? If i put 4 5 minute long tracks in sequence i dont want to have 5 minutes + 15mi...

Re: Combine CPU of two Macs using Ableton Possible?
I am happy that I am the type of person to just try to use Ableton plugins and no third parties. maybe use less third party plugins will definitely help you out. [/quote] I am glad you are that type of person too but you obviously dont do much mastering. If you did you would not say that. I might ev...

Combine CPU of two Macs using Ableton Possible?
Hello everyone.
Hope you are healthy and kicking!
I was wondering if there is a way to use a Macbook Pro together with a Mac Mini in order to distribute the CPU load
between the two of them?
Would appreciate any info.
Thank you in advance

Re: Kicksample sounding different in arrangement than in browser
I see. Glad you found a solution my friend.
Btw "the sharp hit" of the kick you mention is called a Transient (good info for the future).
Cheers!
