Save a ton of money and subscribe to macprovideo for a couple months. In one of PB's free videos their instructor kept calling the arrange view the session view. Plus, I've seen typos on their site. I get it, we all make mistakes but for whatever reason, I'm more sensitive to these details than most...

Anyone else late feedback? I hit the pad, hear the sample, then a few milliseconds later the pad turns blue.

With other controllers ive noticed the pad changes color instantly

Curious, is it my software or hardware? When I strike a Drum Rack pad on Push, the pad doesn't change color until after the sound has played. It's not instant.

My buffer size is set to 128.

I was just go to suggest buying a sample pack or two and reverse engineering some beats and patches for inspiration...but damn

Agreed. I would love to name clips and tracks from the controller. Lots of clips get created when jamming and going back to figure out the one with this or that is kind of daunting.

Start with your Live arrangement (loops, synths, etc) and then layer it up with Maschine. You can drag and drop the midi file from Maschine to Live's sequencer.

Sooooo.... With a default sensitivity setting, when I play one pad on push other pads are being triggered. This just happened - random notes being played. I'm not holding these notes down. I was thinking swing was applied in real time, but it's applied after the fact

So what you're saying is, play the notes in and then just press the quantized button. The whole, or just the played notes will be swung?

I even extract groove to see if the notes are shifted and it's straight quantized to the 16th

Call me slow but I'm not hearing it. Quantize enabled Swing set to 60% 1/16 Quantize to 100% quantize notes 1/16 record quantize [on] I play notes in, don't see any swing or hear it However, when I use the repeat function it records the swing and I can hear it and see it. Curious what's going on here

Curious. I've tried that with recording synth parts, no swing. It also affects the whole clip?

I get you use it when you're repeating notes. But other than that? Seems like a waste of space if it doesn't affect the swing of clips and recorded notes.
