I have never written a script or used automator, I was thinking that this might be a way to go as well. we'll see how much time I have over thanksgiving to devote to figuring this out!

I would love to be able to click a "randomize all" button or something like that instead of going into each clip's follow action to randomize it. Maybe each track could have a "play clips at random" function?
