are you being serious? theres no latency with most sound cards and external gear, at least there is no noticable difference i could tell with the g2 or my monomachine.... and i'm with komplex with the accept both bit, a good mixture of the 2 is good, you cant find a soft synth that sounds like a g2 ...

Buy some hardware!!!!!!! now theres an idea! just think of a lovely "little" modular synth that you make just about any sound you want plus then have four of them going at once, all polyphonic as well, on top of this route audio in in realtime and process any way you like with not a single...

farting around with windows schemes only reduces performance... thought you might like to know... for audio you should set it to best perfomance under performance options in system.. this will make all the silly fading in/out minimise animations and shaded title bars go away for some extra cpu cycle...

just got the monomachine recently.. it is unbeliveable.. fires the g2 and syncs up lovely with live.

only if live goes and pays for ripping all the features of its arrange view, of steinberg or who ever invented the sequencer.. and it would be intersting to know who had the idea to implement the timstrech feature????? sonars had it for ages , and so has acid... i say i hope project five really puts...
