im using the ultralite on a windows 7 64 bit machine w/ 8.1.4 and having no problems, in fact, just used it at a festival, no problem.

I hear you bro.. But is it not the implementation of M4L that's thrown a 'spanner in the works' of the basic stability of the program itself? Is it not tearing out the Share feature? Or is it not because changing the file format for Serato Live? Or changes to accommodate APC/Launchpad functionality...

After using Acid Pro versions 2-7, I feel comfortable saying Ableton is far far from falling behind.
