Can anyone advise if their is anyway to solve the performance issues on the macbook or should I just cut my losses and sell it and upgrade to 3.4ghz iMac Desktop? The bolded detail above means you're not correct in your assumption. I have little or no issues using Audio Units in Live 9. Why exactly can't you use the AU version?

Thanks for your report. I just installed the 9.1.3 release yesterday. Judging from the betas Live 9.1.3 is a positive improvement.

It's exactly the same. Meaning you updated to OS X 10.9.4 with Live 9.1.3 and everything works for you as before? I'm still waiting for proper cables for my Babyface. Polyphonic Aftertouch is part of the MIDI standard since the 80's and predates Ableton Live 1.0. What's the rationale for not supporting it? To be able to switch it off or thin it out for saving on resources would be nice.
