Ditto. I love using the wacom, but for anything that requires relative-movements, tweaking of sliders and re-zooming your view has things flying out of control.

Um, yeah! I've a laptop and I sure would like to see the second display function as the arranger window or vice-versa, if given the option.

Um, no. Cakewalk/FXpansion's VST-DX adaptor makes VST plugins available to DX hosts. It doesn't work the other way, unfortunately.

DX Plugin Support

Seems like there are a bunch of good DX plugins out there for the PC. Would it be possible to add support for these as well?

Oh. And overdub on audio record and clip reversing???... pleeeeease!!!!???? 8) Ooh, try out Vellocet Reorder. http://www.vellocet.com/software/VReorder.html It may take some time getting used to, but it can slice up and reverse portions of the incoming audio signal. It says that it's for Cubase, bu...

Ways to implement MIDI

Whoa. I actually managed to wade through all that was said before me so that I could get a good grasp of the situation before I opened my big yap. Ok, I agree with the majority vote that Live would benefit greatly by having the ability to work with MIDI and VSTI's. So, just for a moment, assuming we...

Fine-tune for filters/effects?

How about being able to hold down Ctrl while you drag a parameter slider to allow for fine-tuning?

Alphanumeric input for filter parameters wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Arrangement view bug

Hey all, I noticed a little bug when using the Arrangement View. Y'know that arrangement overview bar across the top of the arrangement view? Well, I found that if you leave your track playing for a very long time, with no repeat, and you forget to stop Live, it keeps on playing, and that arrangemen...

I see -- so people are just using the DM-2 as a way to control faders and controls, etc, and also to control position within the song.

OK, now I get it. I can get that to work easily enough.

PV1600X

Hey all. I'm using a Peavey 1600x as a MIDI controller for Live. I can understand how to assign the MIDI controls to the transport controls, but I don't understand where you assign MIDI signals to allow for the "scratching" effect. The PV1600x has a big fat jogdial which can be assigned to...

A possible compromise...

Okay, this is my first message, and I hope I'm not bringing up a point that someone else already has. Why not just include MP3 support for the pre-listen function in the file browser, and when you drag-drop the file, THEN it converts it to a WAV file, which is saved to the project directory, and the...
