is there any hidden feature in the arrangement view that allows markings to tell me the chord, key , meter, etc like in pro tools?

use a dummy clip?

I WAS referring to the DX 7 version. I was at guitar center today and demo'd all the Yamaha workstations looking for that Bette midler patch. . . it is cheesy and grating but I also believe some tube overdrive and careful filtering makes a very lushious timbre out of it. that's the one I refer to.. ...

thanks for the reply, I actually HAVE the suite and LOVE the electric instrument, I just did not realize that i could simply look at the Operator patch for "familer roads" and know how to program the most famous e. piano ever.

just use the samples as waveforms (as opposed to just the simple square, sine, , triangle, saw...

then build your patch using all of live's synthesis modules ( effects, lfo, encelope, vsts, etc.)

I'm tired of trying shitty midi guitars ( yamaha ez-eg, You Rock Guitar)... I'm just going to practice my keyboard chops until I'm as good on that as on guitar. so what is the recommended method to get down standard chords and scales? find a great teacher? I lever liked many guitar instruction books...
