Re: Load clips into ~buffer

I'm good cheers man, how about you? Sounds pretty promising. Its a shame that were having to develop workarounds for this type of thing in m4l, the key thing that I hoped for was accurate timing of clip manipulation, but unfortunately it appears that this is not high on cycling74 or Abletons list of...

Looks like it is possible provided the audio files are in a specific directory, unless I'm misunderstanding that post on c74.

Load clips into ~buffer

I was wondering how a selected clip can be loaded into a buffer object. It seems that the ms pinky m4l app does this, but I'm a bit of a max noob, and don't have the foggiest idea how to achieve it! Was thinking this might be a nice way to skirt around the timing issues with the move playing positio...

New Radio show, get your music heard

Hello all, My first in a weekly electronic music radio show is on tonight at 8pm gmt. I'm looking to play some good unsigned and listener music in future shows alongside the established artists that I'm playing so far. Check out the show streamed at http://www.southleedscommunityradio.org.uk/ on whi...

Re: DJing drum fills

Follow actions.

stick your original beat in first, then the fill on the next scene, with a follow on action to trigger the second beat. You could use legato mode, or not depending on your personal preference.

Easy. :D

No takers?

I'd be happy to take $450 each or $800 the pair.

Re: petition: tighten move playing position in M4L

Also in agreement there.

Does anyone from c74 or ableton have any news as to whether or not this is getting looked into, and what can or is being done about it?

Re: M4L learning curve

Reading back, that may actually have been quite helpful! I wrote that in a short break between chapters of 'The God Delusion', so my brain was a little all over the shop (great book, I highly recommend it). I think the key to not becoming too frustrated with max for live is to gradually increase the...

Re: M4L learning curve

The thing with max (and therefore max for live) is that you can make something very simple, that can provide you with 'acceptable results' very quickly. Now this is fine if you want to make a sine wave generator, or a metronome, or a button that returns your playing position to the beginning of your...

Re: Would you buy download codes?

I reckon giving out codes which give 10-20% off your standard download price would probably get people to at least get on your site.
