You can copy and paste processed audio from frozen track to other track.

I have occasionally experienced that audio clip playback sound different when using scrub area in Arrangement View. But I can't verify the rendered song is affected by this. It may happen only when realtime playback.

The sound of hardware synths' warm ambient is relying on filtering process. For the instance, Oberheim has good filter which makes its well-known gorgeous pad and fat lead.

Because grouped track is lacking good PDC. It messes up timing and muddy the sound.

Interface is for better quality conversion between analog-digital vice versa and additional input/output. If you are happy with current quality you don't have to buy interface.
