in b18 dragging a preset of operator, analog etc. on a midi track will only load the instrument, with init preferences.
i haven't yet figured out any way to load a preset...
presets for live effects load fine.

with henke on board i'm sure they won't change the gui. which is a good thing of course. this may be a good opportunity to state how much i love live's gui, i think it's genius. it reflects live's functionality, it is so well thought out that it never had to be noticeably changed to add new features...
