Re: APC 40 FAQs, features and questions
I bought my APC in New York City and the PSU it came with accepts a 100v - 240v mains input, in other words anywhere within that input voltage range works. This means that with a simple pin adaptor, my original PSU will suffice for 220-240 volt zones (Europe etc.) I'm using mine right now in Switzer...

Re: Ibanez electric guitar?
Hello Sage, cool, so I can chalk you up as another one that doesn't get the distinction between a fact and opinion. cheers, bagginz So can I chalk you up as someone who doesn't understand someone with a strong opinion masquerading it as fact ? Ahh good, precisely my point: you and others were stati...

Re: Ibanez electric guitar?
Add me the consensus.. Not really into gainy shred stuff. Neither am I into the shred stuff. Personally I get on better with lower output single coil pickups, the clankier, the better. Still, I like the sound of the Ibanez pickup INF2 (for the bridge) and an INF1 in the neck pickup. They also split...

Re: Ibanez electric guitar?
Russ aren't you a lawyer? I'm astounded that you don't know the difference between a fact and an opinion. Consensus does not a fact make. In this case, it is fact. The cheap Ibanez ones just sound like you've got the tone control turned down permanently, so horrible and useless. Hello Sage, cool, s...

Re: Ibanez electric guitar?
Humbuckers in cheap Ibanez guitars are horrible. This isn't really a matter of opinion, IMO , Lol! classic! it's pretty well known. The nezzes with the cheap PUs are really pretty ordinary guitars. Best avoided IMO. Russ aren't you a lawyer? I'm astounded that you don't know the difference between ...

Re: Ibanez electric guitar?
+ 1 for the Ibanez S series. Assuming you're o.k with a locking nut whammy. I have an S670FM (A fancy wood version of an S470) It cost € 415. It's not quite like my old PRS but it's lot of guitar for the money. Though I generally prefer a single coil on the neck p/u (S670FM = H/S/H) still, it's very...

Re: Bug in Follow Actions
hi bagginz, Was the warp marker to the right of the start point on the following clip? no, initially on the first clip, but tried it again setting the start point before the 1st warp marker on the 2nd one, no problem either. best, jörg o.k Jörg, thanks for testing it. If I experience any more stran...

Zooming in Live 8.04 on a PC?
A mate of mine has a MacBook. he showed me a rather nifty way to zoom in and out of Live's arrange or session view just using the Cmd key and the Mac touch pad.
Is there any way to get this same zoom control with a PC laptop without entering Live's preferences?
cheers,
bagginz

Wow! no replies from the Abes?
I've had one person reproduce on his system...
It's reproduceable, therefore most probably a bug. Or should I just stop bothering to report?

Re: Bug in Follow Actions
Hi Bagginz, working fine over here (with a Follow Action after 64 bars and a clip just containing 1 warp marker). If the problem persists, please send the set to support@ableton.com Best, Jörg Thanks for the reply Jörg. >a clip just containing 1 warp marker< Was the warp marker to the right of the ...

Bug in Follow Actions
I'm having a real problem setting up follow actions (Live 8.04) I've spent about two hours trying to get it to work on longer audio clips ( > 64 bars long ) I'm following the proceedure in the Live Manual (setting the exact length of the clip in bars, setting Follow Action to"next" , the c...

Re: Nathan Fake's Producer Masterclass Video in CM
Strikes me that his focus is on composing creating music and uses whatever he has at hand as opposed to obsessing about having the latest shiny piece of kit or software version. i.e he's retained a sense of proportion. I could use a bit more of that myself... Reminds me of an studio interview with N...

Re: Looper misbehaves when triggered with a Footswitch..
I must say I'm a little disappointed by the lack of flexibility/configurability with the footswitch sockets on the APC40. It's essentially two holes which works with some footswsitches but not with others. By contrast the Behringer BCR2000 automatically recognizes the switch polarity and adjusts acc...

APC40 / Live 8.03/8.04 bug...
I can crash my APC40 consistently. I just turn on the Map Mode button on and off in a rack and assign a Device Control encoder (Live 8.04 and 8.03) and move the knob while switching the button off while Live is playing audio. Crashes the APC40 every time, and no bringing it back except by rebooting ...
