Shit rip or not, the question was can you tell the diffrence and the difference is very clear. I'm listening on a turd pair of laptop speakers on a borrowed laptop and I got it first time. Can you describe the really obvious difference? For example the final 'pulse' feels more powerful, probably coz...

Don't know.
But if possible get the singer to a store to demo it.
If the store has no demo facility, ask to borrow it for demo-ing in your set up. You'd be surprised what you can get when u ask.
Just leave your passport or a cash deposit or something.
