Usually, yes - but not here for some reason.
Ctrl+A, or cmd+A as is the case on my Mac, will not do anything to the locators, even if one is selected.

Re: Quick way to delete loads of locators?
Ah, of course. Figured it out, in a way.
Once you have selected and deleted a locator using the delete key on the keyboard, Live automatically moves to the next locator, which can be deleted the same way.

Quick way to delete loads of locators?
Is there a fast way to delete, say, 20 or 30 locators?
It seems I have to select one, choose "delete locator" (which doesn't even have a key combo), then choose another one ... hassle!
Anyone?

Re: Control Transport position via controllers? Osc? MIDI?
Sorry, I wasn't being clear enough. I know about locators. :) What I want to do is improvise, so to speak, at random (more or less), and so I want continous changes to song position, not fixed positions like the ones locators offers. Anyways, I found a solution yesterday using Max For Live and the &...

Control Transport position via controllers? Osc? MIDI?
Is it possible to send messages (midi? OSC? anything) to Live to control Transport position?
For example I want 33.1.1 to play one moment, then 11.2.4 the next moment, then 44.2.1 the next etc.
Any ideas?

Getting tired of these fake Live 9 threads.
Sorry.
Sorry.

Re: What feature in live 9 would be a game changer for you
Without a doubt: proper DAW editing. The difference between detailed editing in Logic Audio 9 and Live 8 is staggering. Also, improved layout in the arrangement window. I want *solids* for each sound file, and I want track separation and sound file separation to be very, very clear. Better MIDI-edit...

Re: Where is ableton 9? :(
On the front page of Ableton.com it says the Lion fix for Live is coming "soon". That was posted about five weeks ago. I think this could tell us a little something about Ableton's time perspective, at least on some matters. This bug fix program could go on forever if ALL bugs are supposed...

Seems no one has seen this yet, but the drive is ONLY FOR INSTALLING.
You can't run the thing from the drive itself.

Not working too badly, though latency could be better.
Really is a shame Ableton/Cycling 74 hasn't been able to work this one out after one and a half year with M4L ...

Send MIDI data from an Audio track?
I haven't found anything about this in the "manual" for Max For Live, but: I have made a device that uses audio from one track to trigger MIDI data. This works fine as a standalone in MaxMSP, of course, but I can't seem to get the MIDI data from the audio track to the MIDI track containing...

Re: A few surprises!
On a positive side note: I can smell Live 9, and the sent is rather strong! Not sure about that. Remember that Live 9 development was completely postponed when Ableton launched their "campaign" to rid Live 8 of its most serious crash related bugs, and that postponement has probably affect...

Re: Is this a bug? MIDI CC to Clip "Transpose" problems
I see.
That's a pretty poor solution, I think, at least for what I want to do. Is this a choice made by design, or because it's too complicated to make it possible to modulate clip paramters individually?
Imagine the possibilities ...
