crap, this G.A.S thing never ends does it. I've been looking at Kontakt and fm8 for a while now. This surely makes sense even if i have a few of the others. I wonder if my better half will see it the same way .

It's just the one kit that can be used with the brushes right? One Kick, one snare, one hat etc.? It seems that way yes, unless i'm overlooking something. You can of course mix the brushed drums in with the other kits if you so desire. I'm hoping that the upcoming stick kit will, for the same price...

I got them over the weekend and am really happy with them. I felt the expansion packs they put out last year were much too expensive (and lets face it - who needs more retro drum samples) so am very happy with the price of these. I'm presuming the stick set upon release will be of similar pricing.

The second Coming (Stone Roses) is a vastly underated album IMHO. No it's not as good as the first but it's still great. Defintely a guitarist's album. The guitar on Daybreak blows me away every time.

and a +1 for all the plaudits for Kevin Shields and My Bloody Valentine. Wonderful band.

I must admit, as much as i appreciate the statement, i'm pretty gutted upon reading that. I've been looking forward to this record for a while. Hopefully it will get a suitable release at some point. Oh well, off to track down the stream i guess.

I am having similar problems with a Logitech VX Cordless mouse. Only in 8 though as it still works fine with Live 7.

It's all a bit cramped because i got kicked out of my room a while back (who knew baby daughters would want their own bedroom?) and am stuck in the corner of the living room temporarily. The Ikea desk is working out ok though.
