Yes, in both cases I mentioned. (Lack of VST automapping and inability to play midi (on Push pads) and control fx on another track simultaneously).

I found that the dll needs to be placed directly in the vst folder, and not in a subfolder. For me, it won't show up otherwise. So no "Korg" folder in the vst folder. Untidy!

I believe the very nature of Live as devised by it's creators, means that we simply won't see it becoming the all singing all dancing DAW that Logic now appears to be. Of course I hope to proven wrong. EG. We will never see comping in Live. We will never see a horizontal session view next to the arr...

Unfortunately the thread I linked above is 7 years old and goes back to the Push 1, so it's taking rather long to "fix" anything.

No It isn't, but that's not the only thing Reaper does better with Push. For example, In ableton, you cannot even adjust parameters on Send fx while playing a separate midi track. Negating the use of this £600 controller for a basic live "dub" mix . https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?...

You can also turn on mapping and change preset for instant mapping of all the parameters, instead of doing it manually.

As i said though, for some reason Reaper does it better, and this really shouldn't be the case.

I get more use out of Push in Reaper than Live these days.

Mainly due to VST's being immediately mapped for use.

Browser Search should display all files in sub folders, instead of just the folders containing relevant files.
The way it is now, you gotta open hundreds of folders just to see a partial search result.

Create midi pattern from transient slices in Simpler. Kinda Obvious.

Why did Ableton leave this out in the first place?

Just to rub it in, Logic 10.5 has this in the quick sampler, that they just copied from you guys.

Ahh my favourite topic. It's because Live's slicing algorithm and implementation is, shall we say politely, not ideal. You really gotta zoom in and line up many of those transient markers manually. At the same time, you ideally need to audition the slice before slicing to midi...just to see if it pl...
