M4Live is now integrated in the Suite, so less problems... but not in Live Standard. just verifying... you are definitely both using VST, right? not AU on the mac and VST on windows? that definitely won't work (in my limited experience - i just moved from windows to mac, and most of my racks wouldn't load because i had only installed AUs on the mac... i haven't bothered resolving it...

you probably already checked this, but did you install the vst2 version of amplitube, or only the vst3 version? reaper can read vst3, live can't.
probably not the issue, but maybe worth checking just to make sure.

do you have suite? if so, give it a try with some of the session drums... i don't know if you'll like them more than the multi, but given that the multi12 only has 100 MB onboard, and the hi-hat alone is more than that in Session Drums (the average per kit is ~1GB), you may find them usable. if not....
