Re: Using apc40 for EQ-ing 2 tracks together...?

Select a send bank you dont use, then assign using MIDI assign top row of pots/knobs to the eq in one track (whether you use 3 or 4 knob eq's) then the next row to the other track. allows you to control two tracks of eq's simultaneously. enjoy

Re: limiter settings

This: http://tarekith.com/assets/mastering.html Tarekith, I have used this page as one of a few resources in trying to learn how to master. I appreciate your guides and thank you very much for them. the guide says that you have the main output at -0.20, does this correlate with the ceiling value? a...

Re: How solid is Live8 for you?

I have persevered with live 8 since its release with continued unexplained and explained crashes. all this has been well documented. I occasionally play dj sets live with ableton in clubs and run my own studio where it is no issue if there are crashes as it is usually only myself and never (or very ...

Re: DJ Cue Points In Live

I remember being able to hit shift and cue on my project mix i/o and being able to put numerous cue points with different numbers in them. I also remember being able to then key assign to the numbers. sorry to be vague but this bit of equipment is on the otherside of the world in a storage crate at ...

Re: Looking for feedback. Thinking of abandoning APC 40 & Live 8

good to hear it helped a bit. true warping in ableton is mostly done by sight. I see it as the beat matching equivalent in the sense that its hard to do to start with but with some practice it becomes second nature. also dont forget to hit save in the clip view down the bottom to save the als. file ...

Re: Looking for feedback. Thinking of abandoning APC 40 & Live 8

if you are warping techno tracks that arent recorded from your vinyl collection warping should be a breeze. vynil speeds up as the tone arm moves towards the centre of the record thus making it difficult to warp. Id say persevere for a bit more as it sounds like you just havn't been shown how to war...
