This is the site from Kruddler outlining his experience with Kyma. Long and short of it seems to be that he ended up not having as much fun or productivity with it as he hoped.

Re: Kyma
Forum user Kruddler was on a quest for spectral processing and finally settled on a Kyma.
He had a blog about it - not sure where it is, but there was a thread on Spectral Processing that linked to it.

Why be happy when you can bitch about it instead of working around a mild inconvenience?

Re: Back on 8
Yeah, Live 9 has made me completely forgotten about stability issues from 8.
I'm probably jinxing myself, but I can't remember the last time I had a crash, even on the 9.1 betas

That was out of line. I apologize for the name calling. But I stand by the general point that complaining in the forum is not going to bring about the change that you're calling for.

Because you're carrying on in the forum like a whiny, entitled child and it's undermining your otherwise legitimate complaint?

Re: Sidechain everything? Why/why not?
[sigh] I remember the days when pumping was an unwanted side effect of using compression, and a sign that you were using too much. Now it seems to have been turned completely on its head, and it's seen as "cool" and something to aim for! 8O “Whatever you now find weird, ugly, uncomfortabl...

Thanks for the update Dennis. It's nice to get info/response right from the (figurative) horse's mouth.

Re: Analog Pulse Width
PW of 0 or 100% means the sound is effectively zeroed out - so if you are getting an identical sound to the square with PW of 0, it makes me think you have unison going, and the difference you hear is the oscillators getting in each other's way - and when you have the PW at (effectively) 0, you're n...

Re: How to do Daft Punk's: Get Lucky?
Trilian plus someone reasonably/with good rhythm chops on a keyboard can get pretty close to that kind of soundA synth will probably never get you there. Instead you'd need a bass and guitar player.

Re: Push Cover / Stand
I've been using one of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000RI39XK/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Also took a bunch of fake-wood wedge-shims from Home Depot taped together to create a sort of big doorstop shape. Using two of those, I have been extremely happy with the angle and ...

Workaround for timestretch sampling via MIDI Map
Useful workaround for time-stretched sampling (albeit sans sampler, and I assume it takes over your MIDI keyboard's keys you use for it)
This would have single-handedly saved me hours in the past if I'd known about it

Re: Why I will not make music with something like "push"
Completely unnecessary thread. And that's different from 3/4 of the threads on this board because why exactly? And re: the MIDI improvements, I agree there are definitely things that make the workflow better, and I am certainly happy with what they've changed. But really, I'd have a hard time disag...

Almost everybody else I've talked to has had more stability and better performance with 9.
Sucks that's not the case for you.

Re: The Push section of the Live Manual is rubbish!
Additionally, if it would be possible for your team to come up with a nice one-page reference cheat sheet for which buttons have Shift or Select access (i.e. holding Shift to record-arm multiple tracks, etc.), or will change based on holding them (i.e. User controls for changing Velocity/Sensitivity...
