Re: Ableton Web Shop is DEAD!
if it were me i would set up an exclusive invite for current suite owners, then live owners e.t.c and stagger the purchase and download. there has to be some sense of professionalism, responsiveness and ethics when they announce Live 9 will be available on March 5. Unless there is a fine print some...

Re: Ableton: You've stolen £164 from me - pick up the phone!
It's inconvenient, yes, and Ableton is bigger than your corner store. But I doubt they make enough to have a huge phone support staff. With way more customers than a tiny shop, it would be logistical hell to deal with so many phone calls in a queue. Of course those companies don't have a phone staf...

Re: keeping audio interface on
Good to know, because I'm considering the same. My laptop has also basically been on for 4 years. Maybe it's true for all gear :) Well, I'm not sure about laptops, because cooling can be a serious issue, and fan failures are common problems, especially with older machines. But seems you're lucky. ;)

Re: Ableton: You've stolen £164 from me - pick up the phone!
I've just paid you £164; your server's then crashed and your website tells me there was a problem with the payment, so I should try again. My Account still only shows Ableton 8.. But PayPal has taken £164 from my account. You don't even have a proper phone-line. What kind of company says 'we're bus...

Re: Big list
Well, studying the new Live 9 feature I have to say that you'll never see most those things, Ableton does not care for those small but important stuff, they think 'bigger' (Push)...Polyson wrote:nobody founded my requests intereting ??

Re: Live 9 Beta Testers - What new features are you seeing?
Regarding all those huge feature wishlists I read here I guess that they just considered one percent of all requests. What about those small but important things like more and user defined short cuts, more colours, improved chain mixers, hide tracks, scroll wheel zoom, group track freezing etc etc. ...

If organized properly, it's one (one!) mouse click. This cannot be too difficult for the laziest user I guess.

Re: New look Ableton website.
New forum colours are not that tiring than the old grey design. And with Firefox there are lots of possibilities for own styling. And for the website, I haven't visited ableton.com in months, why should I? RSS, newsletter, Facebook, KVR is enought to be informed, why bothering with 'websites' any mo...
