when routed internally, so if I routed Battery in Ableton's track Audio to section to a new audio track the level change doesn't

EDIT: so I just used the sample rate and bit converter in iTunes and it literally turns a 24-bit 48k wav file into 16-bit 44k identically, no .2 LUFS drop or any noticeable difference as opposed when dithering/exporting and down sampling in Ableton, has anyone else noticed this?
