Re: How do I set the exact BPM in draw mode?
I've got a song that changes tempo a lot. I've used the song tempo envelope line in the master control at the bottom to track the changes. My problem is I can set the minimum tempo and maximum tempo no problem. When I try and draw the line for the parts of the song that are inbetween min and max. I...

Re: Reggae/Dub - MIDI Drum Techniques
1- theres loads of reggae songs that start off with fills, cut those samples out and use that.. put a little bit of reverb or delay on them and use warping to fit it into the groove of the track

Re: saving live sets to do reinstall.
... ... I since have read something else about make sure you save your set as a complete project? or something like that. What does that mean and how is it done? probably means that you select "collect and save" from the menue, instead of just "save". that saves everything in yo...

Re: ClyphX – simple (and free), Clip-based scripting language
Not sure where to toss out feature requests but here goes: Since ClyphX and my APC40 scripts are both made by nativekontrol would it be possible to have a clyphx clip set the note and key that my CL3 scale and chord modes are in? I'm guessing this is a long shot. And then also, would there be any wa...

Re: Sampling and editing songs
I wish I could do this in ableton Is this because of delay compensation or something like that? I remember doing it perfectly.. I recorded a drum loop, and then resampled the exact same loop with vocals on top and I was able to re-isolate the vocals... (it was just an experiment) But the other day ...

Re: Drum rack question
If you're using a control surface script the 16 pads will trigger the 16 pads that the box is currently selected.. if you don't have the control surface script than it's just going to trigger whatever notes it is assigned to.. Either way, you can't MIDI map the box, but you CAN map a MIDI pitch effe...

Re: Record a clip but don't launch it
I think you're looking for the stop button, since launching the same clip again would start the loop and launching an empty clip slot would start a new recording.

Re: Sharing Ableton sets with Band mates
Dropbox.com is pretty decent with this.. I've been collaborating with my drummer pretty seamlessly, we've used it for about 10 tracks over the past couple weeks. We have the same version of Ableton, and all the right VST/AU plug-ins installed So it's just a matter of 'collect all and save' and then ...

Re: ClyphX – simple (and free), Clip-based scripting language
I'm pretty sure you can have any clip anywhere in your set launch any scene in the set.. If thats even what your question is.T.I.M. wrote:Is there a script to make it play all tracks at scene 1 again?
