Serato owns Finalcrash.. I use to be a user, but I switched when SSL came out and never looked back..

Maybe, maybe not.. I think it all depends on how you work the sound.. I've heard both analog & digital sound like each other, honestly..

But yes, running any sort of audio signal through a nice mixer can give it a warmth characteristic that can sometimes be lacking in the digital realm.
