...each version of Live is an independent installation, so you can (but do not have to) remove older versions from your computer without affecting the current version. Is it recommended to install over the previous installation folder?

I have 8.01 and want to upgrade to 8.03. Didn't know if there is a "best practices" thread maybe someone could point me to... Thanks.

Thanks for the reply! I did test that and it lowered the slices. I suppose my eyes were playing tricks on me.
