i found a solution for the audio dropouts that i suffer whenever i lunch a new clip (or one that i hadnt lounched for a while), move a send, turn on an effect, move the freq of a filter, etc, etc (all of this when i do that for the first time, or after some time after doing it). since i bought live 5, i could NEVER use it... i bought live to play live... and if u want to play live, this soft is usless... so, buying un update for a soft that doesnt work propperly is not what i have i mind... also.. just to make things clear... its ridiculously easy to get this soft cracked, ...

first time i runned live, i made the same mistake... but that doesnt lead me to cpu spikes, just to a high cpu usage... the cpu spikes & audio dropouts, happens (to me) when i launch a clip, turn a (live) fx on, move a clip, etc, etc, etc.... the funny thing is... that live 6 is going to be rele...

so how do u change that on os x ? (tiger)

We also suspect that these stutters could be some kind memory problem. i had the same suspition... but i have 1.5 GB in my PB.. and when i play my liveset there is still some free memory... i also went to the macstore where i bought the last 1GB RAM... and changed it for a new one... and the proble...

If everyone is so serious about there music... according to most people’s tags I see well over $1,000 in additional VST's, software, and hardware regularly. And this is such a problem... why not get a more powerful computer? You can say that isn't the answer... but for me it is. If I was as frustra...

leandro, I can not and want not force you to try out the beta. The beta itself contains several bug fixes that solved or at least reduced "click and pop" problems for several users. But on the Mac there is still the problem that a connected (if used or not makes no big difference) FW audi...

alex, no... a couple of weeks ago i zeroed my HD and reinstalled tiger & live.. since then, live is beheaving much better (still having those problems though)... so i didnt want to install the beta till i know if there was some improvement related to my problem i mean that i dont wanted to spoil...

any chance that u will fix the audio drop outs that some of us ar having when launching a scene, a clip, or moving something (and make us impossible to play live with this soft) ?

ok.. it seems that everything is working fine now... here is what i´ve done in case u find it usefull: 1- backed up my projects, wavs, etc... but hadnt backued up my os x preferences 2- i zeroed my HD 3- partitioned it 4- clean tiger install in the first partition 5- reinstalled live and copied ever...
