The only other post-Pete Best drummer to appear on a Beatles record is...Paul McCartney.

Re: New Original Song - "Chips On The Ball"
Actually, you're the second person to mention Lou Reed. He wasn't even a thought in my mind. But, thanks.

Using FF400 with Windows 7 x64 Pro i7 920 2.66gHz. The motherboard is an ASUS P6T SE which uses a Via chipset for the firewire. Everything has worked flawlessly for almost a year. Running Live 8.0.8 Suite.

This is a stillborn thread...
Translation: Is Live suitable for non-electronic music? You bet your Berlinische buttocks it is. I finally managed to string together enough consecutive free hours to do some recreational recording. Here's an old favorite of mine - one that's easy enough for a technically-challenged "musician&q...

Re: From XP to WIN 7 - - > What problems to expect ? Volcanos ?
To the OP: I'm running Live 8.0.8 with a UAD-2 solo and a FF400 on Win 7 x64 and everything works just fine. Occasionally, Live will hiccup. But, I think that's a more of a Live stability issue (speaking anecdotally here, no hard data to back it up) than an OS issue. My system specs: ADK Pro Audio C...

Prices in the online store are individualized, depending on whether the customer has purchased previous editions of Live and/or the Suite.

Re: Questions for the audio post-production experts
What is it exactly that you're doing on these films? Music to picture? Re-recording (mixing) the soundtrack? If the former, there's no need to worry about time code. You'll record/mix your music track(s) to the picture and export an audio file from Live. The video editor will simply take your music ...

Re: Best Video Export Format for DVD?
Live relies on the video codecs that reside on your computer. If the codecs aren't there, the export option from Live won't be there either. My workflow is such that I only export audio from Live: 1) I first work on editing the video using my Avid Liquid system and then export a DV-AVI file. 2) I br...

Re: why ABLETON support sucks?
Ableton support is the best in the business. Period. As for the limit on activations: Celemony uses the aforementioned method whereby you can deactivate an install from your user homepage. It seems to work just fine in terms of convenience. (Celemony's support is on-the-ball, too.) But, Ableton easi...

Tomorrow afternoon: Jamming at my friend's studio. Will bring my Korg M50. They've got plenty of guitars.
Tomorrow night: Go out dancing with my missus. Do the boogaloo and the funky chicken.
